I had a good stay at a cottage in a serene and secluded location. The atmosphere was peaceful and surrounded by nature, perfect for long walks and bike rides. The cottage itself was charming, clean, and comfortable with a cozy cottage feel. I particularly enjoyed the private garden area, where I could relax in the evenings. The nearby River Wye provided an excellent opportunity to explore with my bikes and paddle boards. The local pub, 'The Crown & Anchor', was cute and served a must-try Wye Butty Beer. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and rejuvenating break.

Studio layout was good with a wide selection of kitchen utilities. Location was very quiet yet central to many amenities. - Ideal for the activities we were wanting to do.
WiFi was very slow, but it didn't affect our overall enjoyment of the vacation. Bathroom fan didn't work and was dusty.

We had a fantastic stay at The Steppes during our recent trip. The location was perfect, nestled in the beautiful countryside of Hereford. The room we stayed in, The Blue Room, was separate from the main house, providing us with privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. The beds and towels were of high standard, and the small en-suite bathroom was clean and tidy. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, offering a full English breakfast with the option to choose specific items. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches in the room, such as the fridge with fresh milk and water, tea/coffee-making facilities, and a jar of biscuits. The beautiful garden was a lovely addition and the perfect spot to relax. Despite a slight issue with the WiFi signal range, we would still highly recommend The Steppes. we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely walk-in shower.
The internet connection was fair and could be expected in a rural location. Unfortunately, the studio did not have a DVD player, so we had to bring our own.

The value for money at Steppes Holiday Cottages was really good, with fine accommodation and beautiful surroundings. The location was perfect, and the hosts were lovely, striking the perfect balance between being sociable and respecting our privacy.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better would be a wider selection of tea bags, although the shortbread biscuits were a good treat.
